Slavich currently
produces and supplies both Certified Silver Halide and
Dichromated Gelatin emulsions for holography applications. The
table below summarizes all the materials presently
available.
- The fine grain, green-sensitive VRP-M
emulsions for both Pulsed and CW laser recording of holograms.
- The fine grain, red sensitive PFG-01 material for CW
recording.
- The ultrafine grain emulsions PFG-03M (red sensitive) and
PFG-03C (panchromatic) for CW laser recording.
- The long-life Dichromated Gelatine emulsion PFG-04 for
recording in the blue and green spectral ranges.
All of the Silver Halide materials are available coated onto
glass or TAC film substrate and cover a wide range of sizes.
We are
grateful to Sergey Vorobyov for the technique of
latensification. We would also like to acknowledge the work of
Hans Bjelkhagen and Nicholas Phillips, on which much of the
chemistry listed herein is based, as well as that of Bernadette
and Ron Olson for the technique of colour-shifting by
D-Sorbitol.
